By Sam Bobrick and Ron Clark
Two Acts – 3 Scenes
One Set – A small roadside cafe
3 Characters – 1 man, 2 women
Wally Murdock buys a cafe on the wrong side of the road that goes to Las Vegas. We watch as he, his wife Louise, and their one waitress, Janet watch the years go by and all the hopes and dreams that Wally had, bite the dust. The play is done in three scenes. The scenes take place in 1940, 1958 and 1981 and the actor's age accordingly.
WALLY'S CAFE opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York on June 12, 1981 and starred James Coco, Rita Moreno and Sally Struthers.

Author's note: The play has garnered some very nice reviews which I plan to eventually track down and include. Unfortunately I am not very good at filing things and then remembering where I filed them.
